i have seen a lot of pix here on cc with the silver & gold dragees as decorations on them. but when i went on the GSA website to purchase them, it states that they are not edible and are for decor purposes only. is that true?? if so, how are a lot of cakes decorated with them??
Thanks
Silvia

Silver dragees are not edible and they are hard to buy in California and Global Sugar won't sell them to a California address. If your local cake shop carries them they have to be labeled that they are not edible.

People put all kinds of junk on cakes that are not edible - fabric ribbon, glitter, fresh flowers, wires... all because it's "pretty".
