I am doing this 4 tier wedding cake with the mehendi stencil set found on GSA. I would like to know how to safely apply purple and orange on the stencil. I normally use royal icing with my damask stencil because it is quick and easy to do with one colour. I've never had to do 2 different colours with images so close on a stencil.

Should I use luster dust, airbrush or use royal icing in purple and orange?

I've done it but it wasn't that detailed. I worked top down left to right and carefully applied each color with a pallet knife being careful not to overlap colors. It was time consuming and tricky but I got it done. you might have to gently wipe the edges of the unstensiled areas before applying lighter colors.
