Hello! I just came to cakecentral to look for ideas for our upcoming graduation parties (My daughter is graduating from high school, and I am graduating -with 3 Bachelor Degrees - as well!)

I looked to see how long since I posted - my LAST post was February 1, 2006!!! icon_lol.gif Totally thought it was funny it's SIX years later, and I'M BACK BABY! HA!

Anywho - I am going through the galleries and "pinning" cakes I LOVE to get ideas for graduation - and finding other great cakes to save for future ideas too. I just wanted to double check and make sure that no one is offended or worried about their cakes being seen? I assume not b/c you have already posted them publicly, but I can't remember if they are private unless you register, as I'm already registered (see the dilemma?) HA!

I have also pinned some of my cakes as well - along with LOTS of other crafty things, cooking things, etc - so come on over to follow me too!

If it IS okay, THANKS so much for your ideas, and if it's NOT okay - just let me know, and I'll take them off. Thanks everyone - you are continuing to be completely talented and breathtaking in your work! I think i need to get back to it!!

OH - I should mention - I'm talking about the website "PINTEREST" - if you want an invite, just let me know - you do have to be invited to join - or wait forever to get a response from them!

Personally, as a business I post pics so they ARE seen, in my opinion most of us probably do.

I don't think most of us will mind because it will link back to the original location you pinned the photo from. IMO it is better than someone starting a gallery, say on Facebook, and just copying pics, without giving links or any kind of credit.

I'm so glad you posted this. I pinned a bakery, Simply Sweets in AZ, as one of my favorite websites. I thought I should email them and ask for permission first but then I thought, I've got a lot of followers and tons of people are going to see that pin so it would benefit them for me to have it out there.

I've seen TONS of cakes pinned and they are all awesome. People pin stuff that is really amazing so if you get one of your cakes pinned that would be a huge compliment.
