So I have been considerind getting a larger mixer. Right now I have 4 6qt. and 1 4.5qt Kitchen Aides. While they get the job done I would really like to get a 12 or 20 qt. So I have been researching and heard good thing about Hobart ( of course) and Globe. Globe is cheaper but Hobart has more bells and whistles. I was just wondering if anyone has or used either of these?

I have a 20qt Hobart. Hobart really is the gold standard in mixers. I would advise not to bother with a 12 qt. You'll LOVE having a 20. Look for something used. The Hobarts last pretty much forever.

Thanks Leah. I'm definitely going used. Can't afford a new one.
