Can I use jam, jelly, or preserves as the binder in cake pops? (instead of frosting?).
I'm wanting to try some new flavors and the idea to use jam or jelly as a binder to add flavor sounds good, but is it practical?

Yes, you can, but just be aware that jams and jellies are a lot sweeter than frosting, so you might want to tread lightly. Using just a little bit of jelly is no problem, either, because some people make cake balls/pops with no binder at all.
