Can anyone suggestion an on line supplier? I dont mind stocking a case but am not to thrilled with the pricing which seems to run anywhere from ~$13 for 50 with free UPS shipping to $25 for 250 plus shipping. Seems the latter is the best way to go but thought I would check with CC before making the purchase.
Looking for simple white corrugated white cake boards. Nothing fancy just something to get the job done. Went to a restaurant supplier in my area with no luck. Other suggestions also appreciated.
Thank you!

Sorry, can't tell you the best way to go without knowing the size you quoted prices for.
To avoid surprise shipping costs, you should check with your local paper supply company that offers pick ups. Many online suppliers are reselling partial cases from the paper suppliers.
Thank you. Sorry about that-- I have 4 to 10 inch cake pans.
We don't need to know your pan sizes.
Are you quoting "$13 for 50 with free UPS shipping to $25 for 250 plus shipping" for 6" cake boards, an assortment of sizes, or what?
I will get the hang of this yet?! 8 inch
That sounds high for 8" circles... .10-.26 each.
It's quite possible your local paper supply warehouse will have them for less.
I can get a case of 500 for $21.99 (.04 each).
Where are you located? Do you have a Cash and Carry or Smart and Final by you? Everytime I'm on the west coast I hit these stores because I bought a case of 100 6 inch cake circles for less than $5 so they were 5 cents each. I try and buy a different size each time I'm out that way. I'm totally bummed we don't have either store in Texas. We do have a Baker's Merchant supply which sells bakery supplies super cheap but you have to have a tax idea.
Those I bought at Cash and Carry in Washington state. You're in AZ and they have a Smart and Final sp I would check there and see if they carry them.
I bought some at www.bakeabox.com. 50 8" rounds for $10.18. Not sure what the shipping is. I don't need huge amounts, so I bought 25 each of several sizes. Much cheaper than getting them at my local hobby store.
Cardboard rounds are best by the case from a local resturant or paper supplier, just like cake boxes, but they only deal with large quantites/a case. They will special order them if they don't keep them in stock. If your local place doesn't have them, find another local supplier. If you aren't looking to buy 100, 500, etc. I think global sugar art has the best prices online. My brother makes and sells the thin MDF and 1" thick wood boards on his etsy shop. Search for "woodworking solutions". I always need sizes that they don't make or weird shapes that he has to custom make. Wood boards are the super expensive ones that kill me when I have to pay retail. Good luck!
