Hi everyone!

I was wondering for those of you with stores, how long did it take you to develop your recipes? I have read many articles of bakers who took an entire year to create their "portfolio" if you will of recipes. Did you do taste tests or just say I like it, its going on the menu...Any help would be great...TIA

With my recipes, some came together rather quickly but others took years to develop. I think the first chocolate cake recipe I ever made was the best and that's the one I still use. However it took me 12 years to get a decent carrot cake recipe -- one that my testers liked and I found could bake up consistently.
