I'm here! Decorating a four tier cake that I base iced earlier in the day. Had a wedding show tonight fro 5 until 9. That may be the last wedding show I do . . .

I had two cakes this week...one for NYE and the other for a dinner party. I delivered that one this afternoon and then came back home to drop. I got sick right after NYE and have been recuperating. Since Wednesday I've been doing the kitten-weak thing so I was thankful that I was up to a simple dinner party cake for today. I do hope that the New Year has started off so much better for all of you!

Another week of nothing for me. I'd worry about it but it seems I'm living with a Typhoid Mary this winter as I am sick for the third time since October. Daughter or no, I say we confine her to her room until Spring. lol

Heads up: looks like we got a spammer on the boards tonight. I just reported one thread and am on the lookout for more.

Just a small 1st birthday cake for me tonight. Almost done! I made my first gumpaste crown to go on top, and I think it turned out pretty well.

Cheatize! UGH! Sick again?. Oh no! Thank goodness it didn't cause more problems with work. My problems stem from my dh, not ds, this time. He went out with friends and came home sick...I fought it off as long as I could and then got it anyways. UGH. Do feel better, boost up your water and vitamin intake and you might be able to fight off those schoolyard beasties a bit longer<G>. Thanx for the troll heads up...we'll be on the lookout!

Michelle, I'd love to see your 1st B'day cake. Those are my favorites. I get to make one in April for my grandson but missed out on doing one in Feb due to a baseball committment for our son. I just think they are so special! An introduction into cake..what could be better!LOL!

Well, I'm turning in for the night...we are going to attempt to take down Christmas tomorrow (we'll see how that really goes! LOL) but since I delivered my last cake this week and don't have anything until I do up some tasting cupcakes for next Friday I'm gonna let myself take it slow and recuperate before the big jobs hit at the end of this month and don't let up till September! Hi all! Crazy few days for me! I've got a cupcake order for Heidi Allen, the host from Rich Bride Poor Bride. She is making a guest appearance at a Bridal show That I am doing this weekend and the organizer asked me for some cupcakes for her hotel room when she arrives. I also have a ber mug cake for tomorrow which is measuring 12 inches tall as well as another cake for Sunday. The one for Sunday is A giant ball of yarn with a cat playing with it. Plus I still have to finish up some dummies for the show as well as the cupcakes for samples. Going to be a late few nights I'm thinking!

Light order for me...bottle of black haus smash cake (for and adult of course!) and some cupcakes....Fine with me, the weeks leading up to the holiday were crazy and I could not even look at another cake!!

Ok, you HAVE to explain what a Black Haus Smash Cake is....dying of curiosity here...LOL
