My friend has asked me to make mini cupcakes for her new years eve party and would like cocktail flavours.
Any one got any recipes?

Ahh so many to choose from

There are tons on this google doc from Macs Mom and other contributors
https://docs.google.com/Doc?id=df4f9hbq_46cs9f28fs

My all time favorite is the Irish Car Bomb (I renamed it to the Irish Dream - for PC reasons) These are also great if guys will be there because it'sa Guiness chocolate cake which the boys just go nuts over.
The mimosa cake is my most popular flavor for cakes in general, I've done margarita and champagne both with great success.

Anything with Kalua or Bailey's is a hit in my family but I haven't tried the Irish Cream cake yet because I like the chocolate cupcake with Irish cream filling (Irish Car Bomb).

Actually using that google doc, you could turn almost anything into a drink. I have come up with a Bellini recipe but I haven't tested it yet so I haven't submitted it.

There is a thread here on CC that started that google doc..I think its at like 400 pages so the google doc is much easiericon_smile.gif There are so many flavors on that list that I want to try and I still haven't gotten around to it.

I offer some pretty creative gourmet cupcake flavors and I still get mostly orders for white and chocolate...I don't even discount for white and chocolate cupcakes...if you pick boring flavors you get the same price as my fancy flavors. It's my way of nudging people into more creative flavors.

I have probably gotten two orders total for plain flavors. I use my scratch recipes and add the alcohol to them. I don't use specific recipes for a flavor. I have about fifty items with alcohol and the descriptions explain how I incorporate them. The descriptions may help you. Once you get the idea of how to use alcohol, it just becomes second nature on how to add it. I don't go for novelty. I create strictly for refined flavor. Even my Absinthe cupcake tastes incredible, and that has been my toughest challenge.
