Do any of you have the COOKIE CRAFT book by valerie Peterson? I deperately need their Gingerbread cookie recipe! Can somebody please post the ingredients (no need for instructions)? Please?

I own the book but we are just about to move houses, I already packed my books in boxes - I don't want to lift boxes and sort out the books. Silly me I had to accept a cookie order! I must learn how to say no! :-/

My favorite book....Here is the recipe

5 c. flour
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
zest of one orange (optional)
1 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. molasses.

Hi, How is this gingerbread recipe? I am getting requests for thick cakey gingerbreadmen. Does this describe this recipe? Thanks.

I have only used the sugar cookie and chocolate cookie recipes from this book. My favorite gingerbread cookie recipe is Martha Stewart's. Its is a thick, cakey cookie type. My family and friends really like it. HTH
