I'm sorry I can't help, but one suggestion to get more help is to change the title of your post. I thought you were actually worried about your babysitter being a vampire or something. =)

Hope you'll get some suggestions!

Good luck!

k at a quick look at your other cakes i see you have photos on them So 1st thought is to google some photos of your theme.
2nd thought with Halloween already lpassing it might be hard to get your hands on some of those gum wax Vampire mouth thingies.[sorry can't remember what they are called but have been around since I was little] Or maybe you can get some. I know in the past I have seen them at Wal-greens and I think I have seen them on www.OrientalTrading.com
Yep here is a link http://www.orientaltrading.com/wax-fangs-a2-_K284-12-1.fltr?Ntt=wax
they are on sale right now for $7.99/ a dozen
or they may have some at a party store need you
Here is also a Search link for Vampire on Oriental Trading that you can look over it might give you a few ideas. http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/search/processRequest.do?Ntt=vampire&x=0&y=0&requestURI=searchMain&Ntk=all&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallpartial&N=0

I say do the Photo in the middle top then add some of those wax Vampire mouths into the side of the cake. I dont' really know the colors of this show But I think a green icing or fondant cake with black trim would be great colors to really pop out the look of the wax mouths.
I hope this made since to ya.

Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking along the same llines, but kinda wanted to do something different, since I have done that before. And I have moved since I made those cakes, and I don't think there is anywhere locl that does the edible images now. UUGGG I am thinking maybevcake with overall colors of pink, purple, adn black. Maybe just somthing young and hip like zxebra or grafitti, then have a vampire bite on the side with blood dripping down and the My Babysitter's a Vampire Logo on it. I am kind of limited on what I can do since I am living with the in laws in alittle tiny kitchen until our house is done being built.

Anyone have ideas to elaborate on my begining ideas?? I would like it to be as fun as possible. I did buy some vampire stuff during Halloween, knowing this is the theme she wanted.

Takes places with teens in school right? Maybe something tiered with bottom tier the lockers to represent the school, middle tier black with a moon and spooky trees and top tier with logo and big "bite" out of it or wax vampire teeth. The kids would get all the references to the show even if nobody else does.

I was thinking lockers too. I really like that, but am still trying to figure out how I can do it with little space (and I mean little) for fondant work in my kitchen. UUGGGG I want my house!!!!!! Oh yeah, and I love the spooky trees. Maybe a misty purple layer with black trees.....hummmmmmm

I have no idea what the theme is... is it a book? movie? Can you give a simple explaination of the setting and main characters?? It certainly would be fun to help brainstorm but I think I would need a little more info. I was totally obsessed with vampires as an early teen lol What about having a two sided cake set atop a lazy susan for the party?... one side being the way the babysitter is seen by the parents and the other side being the way the kids see the baby sitter?? Without more info about the specifics I'm afraid that is as helpful as I can be icon_sad.gif

Sorry. I have been away from the computer all week. It is show on Disney that is set around a group of teens that have special powers ie witches, vampires, walocks, werewolves, ect. The characters all go to school together and spend their eveneing protecting their friends and family from the evil vampires, werewolves, witches, ect. So most of the time the show is set in a highschool or at the home of the main character. I hope that helps with ideas. icon_redface.gif

what about a locker that is opened with the "My Babysitter's a Vampire" logo on the open door as a magnet and some vampire-ish stuff inside the locker. Like potions, blood, teeth, etc. You could also put a note inside from one of the main characters to your daughter.(This could be your daughters locker, as if she was part of the show,so you could alsoadd other things she likes as magnets or things inside of the locker)
Good luck! icon_smile.gif
