Well mine is here, made it all the way to the UK. Thanks to the OP for this, would never get it for anywhere near that money over here.

No there is nothing that says it can't be returned on the paperwork

Really, I was wondering if we could use modeling chocolate, because everyone uses, fondant, and gumpaste, Which brand of modeling chocolate do you use?

Thanks.

Well I've had a quick play, just cutting things out not putting on cakes and I love it. Just used fondant and it works just fine for me.

They still have the gypsy on sale so I shall be purchasing that along with spare mats etc from the site, for me they have been just great, answered my email and I used paypal so no credit card problems.

Me too, I think I got so excited at seeing the machine so cheap I didn't think about anything else. The delivery is nowhere near as high as for the machine though. The thing is, the gypsy and a pack of 24" mats, a cartridge and spare blades with delivery is still way cheaper than the gypsy on its own in this country!

The policies are on the site in their terms and conditions. You had to check it to continue in the cart.

The Cricut Cake is still $49.95 on CricutMachine.com and the Gypsy is still $64.95 -- and when I ordered my CC last week it was FREE shipping in the continental US. I've had an Expression for three years for crafting and LOVE IT! My girls got me a Gypsy for Christmas last year and it is a fabulous tool - I like it much better than Design Studio for your PC. Just an FYI - I love cricutmachine.com - their sale prices are always good but sometimes if the item you want isn't currently on sale - just wait a few days or a week and it usually will be. I prefer to buy from them rather than dinking around on Ebay although you can get good deals on machines and cartridges there too - just be careful not to overpay if you can find the stuff cheaper elsewhere.

I'm anxious for my CC to get here - it shipped on Saturday so should be here any day. BUT I've never worked with fondant or gum paste before (although one of my adult daughters who unfortunately lives out of town makes Beautiful cakes for others without a CC!) so I really look forward to her next visit! - when we can play!

I'm new to this site so will definitely be searching for tips and pointers on things like how to modify Wilton MM fondant with gumpaste to get it to work well with the CC - and how thick/thin to roll it, etc.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I ordered mine last week and just came in this morning! For that price why think twice? Even if you use it a couple of times and you make money from your cakes it pretty much pays for itself. I got mine shipped to Canada and i had to pay shipping but still saved a wop of money in comparison to buying in store (still goes for $300). Will play with it ASAPicon_smile.gif

That looks like an awesome deal.
I know nothing about the cricut machine but always wanted to try one. So me being a newbie here I have a couple of questions

What is the gypsy thing you guys keep talking about lol from what I understood its a software(correct me if im wrong)?? And is it necessary to purchase a gypsy along with the cricut machine?

And the most important thing is it easy to use the Cricut?
Sorry but again im a newbie when it comes to this section
TIA thumbs_up.gif

Sounds to good to be true. I checked out the site above and from what I read there I don't think it's worth the risk.

I'm not saying that you won't get it but ( and big but ) from what I read on the above site is that people have been having issues whith their credit card being used fraudulantly or attempted usage.

Cricut Machine still has this machine for $49.95 and it includes 2 cartridges and free shipping in US - I ordered mine on 111611, it shipped on 111911 and arrived 112311. Haven't tried it out yet - too busy with Thanksgiving - but will soon! Here's the link for the CC as of this moment... http://www.cricutmachine.com/product_info.php?products_id=839&osCsid=4ba3f0a189a9d07af60638b6c9892842

I've ordered multiple times from this company over the past year and have been very satisfied! I pay with PayPal.

Just an FYI - PapercraftingPro.com is their wholesale site - check it out - especially if you are have or need other Cricut products. I've bought from them, too with great satisfaction, but after your first 48 hours trial - the caveat is $10/mo membership which may or may not be for you. Cricutmachine.com is their retail site and their prices are a bit higher usually than PCP - but they are still usually tons cheaper than other sites so meet my needs just fine!

No big bug about it, I'm in the UK and got mine Ok along with someone else in the UK, they arrived on the same day.

As long as you use paypal, there should be no problems. I will be ordering my gypsy fro them!

I so want one,and was intending to get one today, the Cricut mini, which is like 100.00 more (or more than that.) wow...thanks so much.I can certainly make room for this one.

And I always use paypal...whenever I make an order from a different company, I jsut go in and change my password. My work is sending me out of town, so I won't know when it arrives. lol, watch my family wrap it up and put it under the tree, thinking the other one bought it for me? lol

I won one on Ebay for just a few bucks more. Used it on some sugar sheets. LOVED IT! It was a bit unnerving that there are so few instructions with the cartridge. Took me pu shing every button on the darn thing to find out how to get the plain phrase to generate, but now I know how.

I used PayPal last week and got my Cricut Cake in 4 days with absolutely no problems. I spoke to an agent from PayPal who assured me that there would be no problems with abuse later with their security. I say grab one now, I even got free shipping!
