Hey guys! Since all of you guys are experts icon_smile.gif help a novice out here! haha. How do you make pure white buttercream/cream cheese frosting? The butter doesn't help in both the frostings I make. It gives a tinge of yellow and it makes me sad. Any suggestions on how to change it up? Thanks! I would appreciate it icon_smile.gif

You can purchase white coloring. Wilton and Americolors offer a white coloring. I used americolor white and it worked pretty well.

If you add a tiny, tiny touch of purple it cancels out the yellow.

I'll have to try both these options. I hate having to use shortning just to get a white cake!
