I usually dont have filling except BC btween layers. Well my order wanted banana filling. (I used the bag) and made a dam and filled. Made last night and woke up inpanic wondering if it was absorbed or make the cake soggy. YIKES! lol I read that you light frost and then add filling on top ina few places. When I first took a class with filling they just placed it right onto the cake. Do you think it absorbed? (hiding eyes I dont want to see the answer).

There is nothing I can do now delivering in a few hours. Of all people to it is my hair dresser.

Help!

We do fillings all the time, all kinds, and we've never had a problem with it making the cake soggy. It may seep into the cake a little (depending on the consistency of it) but not enough to make it soggy. Your cake should be fine! icon_smile.gif

I use fillings most of the time too and have never had a problem. Your cake will be fine I'm sure. I just use a dam and put the filling in, I don't thinly ice anything first. I'm sure they will love it. Don't worry about it, just smile while they say how lovely it was. icon_smile.gif
