Hello. I am a newbie. I really need help. My grand-daughter wants a castle cake for her birthday. I have the Wilton romantic castle cake set. The problem is, I am not sure how to go about attaching the towers to the top and sides of the cake. What is the best way to do this? The cake needs to travel to the party destination. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

I made the castle cake for my granddaughters birthday, i just used icing to attach it, and the top towers i pushed them into the cake about an inch or so but i made sure there was alot of icing in the holes.. You can see it in my photos.. It was a fun easy cake to make.. Good luck...

I just attach with my normal buttercream too. Then I add a skewer inside near the edge to secure in place. I've never had any problem with my towers.
