I'm not associated with this company in any way, shape or form, but I had such a wonderful experience with them that I had to share.

I needed crystal/rhinestone cake banding for an upcoming cake and was worried about shipping lead time. I contacted Diamond Party Confetti out of California to see if they could expedite the shipping because I was worried it would not get here fast enough. This was last Friday.

I received a response before 8 a.m. their time and was assured that regular shipping would get the product here on time and that they would ship it that same day, no extra charge.

I received my order Monday (I'm in IN, so that was quick) and the product is just gorgeous!

Their prices are competitive and for this type of product, the lead time is extremely short compared to others. They also have sugar gems and such that just look amazing!

That all being said, if you're looking for bling for cakes, check them out, Diamond Party Confetti (I'm not linking to their website in case it's against forum rules)!!!

I used them to get the banding on the peacock dummy cake I recently made. I purchased it from them on Ebay....I agree, SUPER fast. Great experience.

I assume that is .com aftr that name? I really don't think they would have a problem as I understand from what they explained not too long ago about why certain names are blotted out so to speak. Thanks for clarifying.

I figured if I gave the exact company name, finding their website is merely a Google search away. icon_wink.gif I'd rather be safe than sorry!

emrldsky: I totally understand and I found it and bookmarked for my ownself. Thanks for sharing.

Also congratulations on the weight loss. That is huge. especially since you do cakes. I am working on it also. I haven't lost a lot of pounds, but have lost dress sizes so am quite pleased. I started at an 18 in February and now I am between a 14 and 12. It depends on the garment on which one. It is a very slow process when you decorate cakes. Kudos to you.

How do you attach the banding to the cake? Do you put wax paper on the inside and then attach it to the cake?

Their edible diamonds are gorgeous too! I used them on my parents 50th Anniversary cake in my pictures. They look so real!
