Decorating By EvieliciousCakes Updated 6 Jan 2015 , 2:23am by Tasty_Creations
I have a 2 tier cake to make.. 10' and 7" .. But my client wants it tres leches and ofcourse fondant decoration!! What do i do? is that even possible? will i be able to stack them up? please help
I have several tres leches cakes in my photos. The largest one is the three tiered blue cake. The Cookie Monster is also tres leches. The three tired wedding cake with pink lilies and fondant lace is also tres leches. It can be done you just need to make sure that you don't over soak your cakes to the point of them being mushy. I soak my cakes and gently lift to look under the bottom of the cake. If I can see milks puddling up on the wax paper then that's enough. It's also easier to fill and assemble your cakes if the layers are partially frozen. I have one lady that always want half chocolate tres leches and half white. The white tres leches is a more dense cake. http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2110786

These are all tres leches cakes.
And make sure you have a good support system. SPS, Stress Free cake supports or dowels.
I took a look at your cakes sweettreat 101 how do i order one from you or how much would a 2 tier to feed about 30 people cost?
AI know this post is old but I really wanna do a mine craft cake with tres leches cake but I not sure how to do it without it being to wet... Please help!!!
