Hi everyone!

Hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out... I want to make a cake for my bil... in the shape of a pint glass of beer. I was thinking of stacking some 6" round cakes (possibly 3 or 4 depending how high they end up being)... but just wondered if anyone has a good cake recipe that would withstand not only the stacking.. but the carving.. as well as being covered in fondant.

Ideally I would love to make him a chocolate cake as I think he'd like that.. though I'm open to other flavors if need be! I have a great Dark Chocolate Mud Cake recipe... but it's just soooo rich, and i think if I'm going to fill with bc and cover with bc and fondant... it'd just be overkill! I have another lovely chocolate cake which isn't too sweet.. but it's a really moist light cake... so have a feeling it won't hold up to all the above!

Also... if anyone has any yummy combination flavor for the bc... to go with the cake... I'd really appreciate it!
