I have done several FBT's on the top of a cake. Is it hard to get a FTB on the side of a tiered cake?

The main difference is that the FBCT stays flat on the top surface but has to curve on the side. It shouldn't be a problem if your transfer is small compared to the cake circumference.

It'll work. I'd put it on before stacking though.
