Does anyone know how to get the symbols to look exactly like the purse. I see some people use gumpaste are they using a cricut or some other softwear or is it an edible image? Please help I need to make a cake on saturday and I want it to be nice.

Hi everyone, haven't been here in a while. I saw on You tube...some one made a template of the LV logo, used an exacto knife to cut out the logo with "craft foam". then they glue the logo's onto sqaure block foam and used them as a stamp to imprint all around the purse cake. How To Make A Louis Vuitton Purse Cake "SoothingWatersBath" on you tube.....I know there are many ways to do the logo's but i thought i'd just share what i saw.....HAPPY BAKING!!!

I know this is 5 years after the post, but wondered if you hand cut all of those out of the edible paper, or if it was one big sheet? I am being asked to do a brown cake with gold LV & symbols.

Ai used my smallest dogwood cutter for that dang perfect flower shape and the LV is easy -- 2 of the lines are just parallel then finish making the other leg of the 'v' and 'l' add the little feet voila -- the other two shapes are easy to freehand -- so just a thought for you and i used the edible ink markers -- i guess you'd have to paint them gold -- random thought for you
