Cake Falling Apart :(

i made a 3-d dump truck for my son 3rd birthday fondant and gumpasted mixture for the dump bed and cover the cake in fondant but it was like 100 degree out side and everything melted the bed of the truck, the cab fall off icon_sad.gif i work so hard on it and i dont want it to happen again is there anything else i could use or do to stop this from happing i attach a picture to show hoe it look before everything happend
please help

I don't see the picture? How long was the cake sitting out in that heat? I suspect that the temperature had something to do with it. Also, what type of inner-structure/support did you use?

If the cake was sitting outside for any period of time, that is probably what caused the problem.
