I typically use the Wilton All Shortening Buttercream recipe...is there a way to add melted white chocolate to it, and if so, how much would I use? Has anyone ever done this? Trying to avoid the butter in the recipe since it is for an August wedding...any help?

Two options I have used:

one, buy some food grade cocoa butter and substitute it for a little of the shortening. When I did this for sugarshacks recipe, I used about 30 grams of cocoa butter. Not sure about the wilton recipe, but that is how I did it.

two: White chocolate extract, which is available from Silver Cloud Estates. Good stuff.
