I'm making a princess dress cake for my granddaughter. For those of you who use the dress pan, do you tort and fill, or leave it whole? Thanks![/list]

When I've used that pan I've left the cake whole, just because it's easier, but you can tort and fill it if you'd like. One bonus of torting and filling is it'll make the skirt a bit taller, which it generally needs to be in order to be proportional to a Barbie doll or the typical doll pick. The usual alternative is to stack the Wonder mold cake on top of an 8" round.
