Has Anyone Tried The Mock Bettercream Recipe From Cc?

I was wondering if anyone has tried using the Mock Bettercream frosting recipe from here on CC? If so;
1) Can it be used under fondant?
2) Will it hold up in the heat
3) Does it crust?
Thanks
According to a couple of threads that there have been about this, it doesn't crust and it won't hold up under heat. It's probably too soft to use under fondant, too, because it is thinner than buttercream. It's apparently more like whipped cream than like buttercream.

Thanks Marianna! I appreciate the info. Guess I'll stick to the regular buttercream then.
Is there are very close recipe for bc thats like the store bought whipped?
Have you tried Whimsical Bakehouse? It's light and fluffy but very stable and easy to work with by using a hot spatula or bench scraper. And it tastes so much better than Bettercream or other store-bought whipped icings.
