i am very new to decorating and have been asked to make a grooms cake that has to do with baseball does anyone have any ideas i could really use any tips and help given thank you all so much icon_smile.gif

You can try making a jersey cake and just add the baseball on top of the shirt, I think it would be nice. Pretty sure you'll find a ton of pictures on here or just google images and...voila you'll see them and get inspired.

Easy enough to just do a giant baseball (several versions of ball pans floating around so no carving required) , also might want to do sheet cakes designed as "playing cards" with the bride and groom's image in edible ink. Since groom's cake's are much more whimsical it's not as much pressure to be dignified or elegant so have fun with it.

Hi, i did a dodger cake for my brother(in my pic's) fairly easy is 11x15 with half ball on top and did a field around it, just another idea icon_biggrin.gif
