The mom wants a sheet cake to feed 100 people. I can put 2 11x 15 cakes together, but Wilton says that will feed 60. What would you do?
How about a double layer 12 x 18? I do those all the time, and they serve about 100. But they're very heavy, so you'll need a 1/2 inch foam core board to put under it. Of course, you would need to do that for any cake with 100 servings!
I did a double layer 12 x 18 to serve 100 for my DD's baby shower. VERY heavy cake so make sure to support it well.

You could do two 12x18's next to each other (single layer) to serve 100 also.

It depends on the look you're going for. HTH.
Thanks!! The biggest pan I have is 11 x 15, so I was curious. Think I'll just go shopping!!
If possible, spring for the Magic Line brand. The corners on the Wilton one aren't straight. You can find Magic Line at Sur la Table.
