Has anyone ever done a lattice impression in buttercream icing that can help me? I'm having a hard time getting my lattice to sinc up where they meet. Any tips out there?

Also, do you know of any video's on line that could help me? Thx so much!

One thing that helps me is to use a piece of cardboard cut like a right triangle (I think they have them in plastic where they sell school/office supplies, too). For quilting the side of the cake, put the right angle at the bottom and mark where the inclined surface comes to on the cake. Move the triangle to the left (or right) by however much space you want between the lines of your lattice. Once you get all the way around, turn the triangle over and do it the other way, making sure you line up the first mark so that the lines cross exactly where you want them to. Does this make any sense?
