Need Help!! Not A Cookie Girl

i have never done cookies before but i want to make some for a party this weekend. i want to do round cookies with solid top and a number 3 on them to put in whatever kind of plastic cookies go in and tied with a thankyou not. how do i do that? and i don't really want to bake the cookies, can i buy the really soft yummy round sprinkle bakery cookies from walmart and put numbers on them? and what bags do i put them in?

if you decide to go the route of baking yourself, there are lots of threads on here in the cookie forum and a fantastic article in the articles section. I suggest you take a look at them if you want to do it all form scratch.

If you want to buy cookies, you can certianly ice them youself with whatever design or number you want.

You can buy bags at a local craft store.
