So lately I've been seeing that alot more CC'ers are starting to use modeling paste or modeling chocolate for making roses and figures.
Some peoples recipes use wilton candy melts, some peoples uses chocolate...I personally have only used white chocolate "bark coating" to make mine but living in this texas heat, it gets soft way too fast so I've never really been able to use it for flowers and sculpting stuff, more for covering cakes and cookies. But i'd like to get other peoples opinions on candy melts vs. chocolate? do the candy melts go soft as fast as the chocolate does, or does it hold its on a bit better in the heat? does chocolate taste better? which is best for sculpting stuff like flowers and figures?

all opinions are welcome, im really just curious as to what you all think icon_biggrin.gif

i would like to hear some opinions as well. i have only used Guittard A'Peels-made modeling chocolate once. i make candy coating modeling chocolate normally. not enough experience to really notice a difference.
