I need to know if the cream cheese icing matches buttercream ok..I am making a top tier white cake with buttercream and bottom tier with carrot spice cake and cream cheese icing..should I just cover them both with fondant so I dont have to worry about them matching?

Especially if your CCI has butter in it, they won't match. Rather than try to color the buttercream to match, I would go ahead and just put fondant on the whole thing. Less headache.
