Anyone have any suggestions on what to line cookie boxes with and where to purchase? I recently made some boxes of cookies and after sitting overnight, there were grease stains showing through to the outside of the box!

Thanks for any ideas! icon_smile.gif

I line my cookie boxes with waxed tissue paper. You can get it at The Container Store, the have a red checked and red polk dot. Or for more variety you can order for various suppliers on the internet. I get mine from Fancy Flours. They have assorted solid colors. In a pinch I just line my boxes with wax paper. No mater what you use the presentation will be much more professional when the boxes are lined and you have enough overhang to fold over the cookies before you close the box. I also wrap all by boxes with at least two colors of curling ribbon. Small touches that make the presentation much more professional. Hope this helps.

Make sure your paper is food safe. It is much more expensive than tissue paper, but it is a requirement. I use waxed bakery paper.

Perfect! Thanks icon_smile.gif

My boxes are the small square ones (6x6) with the window on top from brpboxshop. How would you arrange the wax paper to make it visually appealing through the window? Any tricks or tips?

I just did the tin boxes with windows for Easter. I used paper shreds in the boxes and then set the cookies stacked in multiplies of two in easter cupcake liners and nestled them in the boxes on top of the bed of shreds. They looked very nice through the window. Hope this helps.

I don't cover the top. I have the same boxes. I cover the bottom and in between each row, but not the top so that the cookies show. My wax paper is white. I pleat the middle so that it fits the box interior exactly.
