Question About Wasc Cake - Please Help!
Baking By Bubbl3h3ad Updated 11 Apr 2011 , 8:19pm by Bubbl3h3ad
i'm sorry but I had to repost this to make more sense.
I'm using this recipe to make a strawberry cake and accidentally picked up the mix with the pudding in it. How do I need to adjust this recipe so it is not tooooooo moist since there is pudding in the mix?
And also, I will be using strawberry yogurt instead of sour cream Thanks!
1 Box DH Strawberry Supreme Cake (Ive found that DH works the best)
1 c Flour
1 c Sugar
3 T Strawberry Jell-o
4 eggs (yes, one more than what the box calls for)
1 c Sour Cream
1 1/3 c Water
1/3 c Oil
2 t Strawberry Extract
I do not know from experience, but I would cut the yogurt/sour cream in half. That is just a guess, though.
I think you should just do a "test run" - bake a cake with this recipe and see if it turns out.
The recipe I use is similar, and I use the Duncan Hines with the pudding in and it turns out just fine and dandy!

Would you mind sharing what recipe you use?
