Hi there,
I am making a mousse torte cake for the 1st time for my mother-in-law,
and I was wondering if it would work ok for me to double the recipe?
(My cake tin is 27cm, and the recipe calls for a 20cm tin.)

Please let me know if it would help to write out the ingredients for you.

Thank you!

If you use the method, pi (r squared), you can find the areas of both pans. The second pan is 82% larger, therefore, doubling the recipe would be necessary.
