I'm thinking about making a Bailey's Irish Cream inspired cake and wanted to know if it tastes better with a chocolate cake or a vanilla cake. I love both vanilla and chocolate cake and was going to pair it with a Bailey's frosting. Let me know whatcha think. Thanks in advance icon_biggrin.gif

I've only made it with chocolate and it's delicious! But, I'd love to know what it tasted like with vanilla. Good luck! icon_lol.gif

How about one layer chocolate and another vanilla and the cream smack right in the middle? Yummy! icon_biggrin.gif

I have only made it with chocolate. I think that it intensifies the flavor.

Thanx everyone! I sampled it with vanilla cake but I think you're right, chocolate may be a better pair. Will try it with chocolate later on this week.

I made Baileys frosting with both vanilla and chocolate and they were both great.I preferrd the vanilla though, but a layer of both cakes would just be to die for.
