1 (1lb) package merkins confectioners candy
1/2 cup corn syrup

Melt candy in the top of a double boiler, over hot not boiling water. Add corn syrup and stir until chocolate siezes up and forms a ball. Turn out on to waxed paper, pat kind of flat. Let cool, then knead, working small pieces at a time. Wrap in plastic wrap and store in fridge until ready to use. Before using bring to room temp and knead once again.

One question for you Midge, Are you by any chance located near Albany NY, your email looks local, I'm about 40 minutes south of there. I tried to email you direct, but i'm on a new computer and haven't figured out how to set my email up yet.

Thanks for the recipe peg818. You may want to send Midge a PM to make she sees this.
