I made my first batch of MFF yesterday and I'm curious about the texture. I usually make MMF and I'm used to its texture. I expected the MFF to feel the same, but when I pulled a bit off it seemed almost rubbery. It stretched then shrunk back up to near its original position. I haven't tried rolling it yet, but I rolled it in my hands last night and it started melting and sticking to my hands (granted my hands are crazy hot). Is this normal for MFF? Is it normally rubbery before being worked some?

If so, is there any other difference between it and mmf in rolling out or working with it? Can I add tylose to make it firm enough for a loopy bow?

Thanks in advance. I'm doing a baby shower cake for a friend due Saturday morning and I'm getting nervous about using a different fondant than I'm used to.
