I'm doing a baby shower cake for next weekend, and was planning on doing my old tried and true WASC, raspberry jam filling, and Sugarshack's BC frosting.
After reading a thread on here about Toba Garrett's moist yellow cake, I'm thinking I want to try this cake instead. Will it go well w/ raspberry filling and Sugarshack's frosting? Or should I try a different frosting? I need a crusting BC for this cake.
I think there are very few things in life that wouldn't go well with raspberry filling and Sugarshack's buttercream! Most yellow cakes are pretty versatile in the kinds of frostings and fillings they taste good with, so I'd say go for it.
