I just purchased a Cricut Cake (yesterday!) and am eager to try it. So far my cookies have turned out great.

My problem is that my son is allergic to anything corn so I don't use corn syrup (I use golden sugar syrup) and use powdered sugar with potato starch instead of corn starch.

I tried making my own modeling chocolate and that's been a mess. Any recipes for making my own frosting sheets or recipes for gum paste or fondant without corn syrup or corn starch would be most welcome.

I am interested in the marshmallow fondant and there is a ricemallow cream that we eat but I'm not sure if the texture would be correct?

You can substitute glucose for corn syrup in almost any sugar paste recipe or candy clay recipe (glucose is from grapes or honey according to the info I found through Google). Wilton sells glucose, but you can get it from other sources for a lower price. Use powdered sugar made with your blender instead of cornstarch to roll out any of the pastes. I have no idea how to make your own frosting sheets...
