SwizzleSweets Custom Cakes

I know these threads are old but I would like anyone's opinions if they are willing to give them. I am not very creative and have spent days trying to come up with something unique that is also available to use. Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

I think it's kind of hard to say. Imagine answering a phone with that name several times a day.

Kinda cute in a Dr. Suess-y way... but not something I would choose.

Hi there I know how hard it is to come up with something original and not taken! If you want an honest opinion? I think it's too long and tongue twisty. how about Sweet Custom Cakes is that available? or Swizzle Cakes.. to make it a little shorter dropping one word?

Also, think of word of mouth advertising... or talking about your own business. How many times will people say "Huh?" and you'll have to spell it out.

I agree that Swizzle Sweets Custom Cakes is a bit of a mouthful. I like "Swizzle" though. It's fun and unique. Maybe just Swizzle Cakes, as suggested above.

Definitely not a serious name. Are your cakes only whimsical? That's the idea I get. The name needs to reflect your business.

I agree Swizzle Sweets Custom Cakes is a tongue twister but how about just Swizzle Sweets? If you have cakes 'only' then Swizzle Cakes is okay but most bakeries offer muffine, cookies, etc............not just cakes like Swizzle Cakes would indicate. Swizzle Sweets would make potential customers want to call to find out what kind of sweets you offer.

What the heck are you asking us for? If you like the name go with it.
I like the name the way it is, but it doesn't matter what I think. Only what you do. It's your business after all. icon_smile.gif
My mom hates my business name, but that's all the more reason I like it. icon_lol.gif

I think that Swizzle Cakes is already a business in California, you should check.

I think that the name is too long, and I would shorten it. Also, I think it depends on the image you are trying to project for your business. Swizzle Sweets is a cute name. If you are trying to project that you make elegant cakes, I would pick something else.

Let's not forget cake shops with unique names like Bleeding Heart Bakery for example. Now that's a name you would think would throw someone off, but it doesn't effect them at all.
I tend to think we over think the business name and that the general public doesn't really care as long as we have a good product and not the word poison in the name.
