Anybody have any pics of any they have done??

I was supposed to do a Sesame Street cake next weekend... and went out bought supplies, fondant, etc... and my SIL emailed me today and is changing to Winnie the Pooh and friends... My mind was so set on what I was going to do that I am now stumped.

I don't want to make the 3d stand up Pooh since I don't have the pan and my wrist will be dead after all those stars...
and I also don't want to use too much bright coloring for staining reasons... last year they did Elmo and she is traumatized by the red frosting that got everywhere to this day. LOL

So I was hoping to incorporated fondant in some way for decoration... I am afraid of color flow or royal icing... I am making this cake 600 miles from home so don't want to make them here and dry them and then have them break in my travels. I can't do edible images.. though I amsure tempted to buy a printer and try the standup image on fondant... but again, the drying time, breaking issue.

If anyone has done anything like this I would love a picture... I know I have a lot of criteria. LOL SORRY!

I am just having a problem changing gears.. ARG

Thanks!

What about a buttercream transfer? You can do it at her house-it only takes a bit of time in the freezer before you put it on the cake? You can have your design all ready to go with you....

i made one not to long ago .....its in my pics ill try to attach a picture here
the tree i made with oreos stacked....and then piped the leaves with a thick icing.....

it made the trip ok .....i would sugest to construct the tree on site it simple

i made my ahead of time and then it fell over on the drive when i hit a spped bump....i had to rebuild it there it only took a second and expected the worst so good thing i had my kit on hand.

this was a last minute idea too ...i was supposed to do a another cake but the mom called and said that she wanted a pooh cake...

I just grabbed one of my daughters book to brainstorm until this popped in to my mind.
