Hi! I am interested in purchasing an edible image printer. I saw an Epson one on ebay for $150, and was wondering if anyone has this one or can recommend another. This price is less than I was expecting, and want to make sure it is worth it before I purchase it. Thanks!

OK, this may sounds a bit dumb, but can one use a regular printer for edible images if you have edible ink?? When I do a search for edible printers online, what keeps coming up are regular printers, and some say they are compatible for use with edible ink! That doesn't seem right to me. How can they be used for both? Seems toxic to me. I must be reading it wrong. It IS 12:00 am and I'm very sleepy! lol.
They're saying you can use it for EITHER edible OR standard, no you would not want to use the same printer for edible AND standard.

I kept thinking I would get it to work, so I never returned it, what a waste of money.

Definatly, as Tiggy mentioned, go with the Canon over Epson. Canon has a removable printhead so that it can be cleaned if it gets clogged. If you go with Epson and you get a clog, you are stuck without a printer. WHile some people are successful with Epsons, eventually the inevitable clog will happen and you will be out a printer.
