Please how do you get the cake to stay put on this angled cake stand? Looks nice but not sure if i am asking for a disaster!

The description in the page you linked to says it ..."has two 'claws' which support either round, square or heart shaped cakes."

Not sure what that means exactly. But 45° is not as big of an angle as it appears in that picture. I think the pic was taken to make it look like almost a 70° angle. The "claws" combined with a piece of skid-proof rubber underneath (the kind that comes in a roll and you put under area rugs so they don't slide around) would keep me confident.

Also, i will like to put roses in a circle as the cake topper held with royal icing. I am afraid it will just fall off.

Aside from also thinking that the picture is taken at more than 45º, that cake is probably a traditional english fruitcake, which is not torted and filled generally. So no slippage will happen inside the cake itself. I guess it is anchored/glued to the cake drum with royal icing, and then the "claws" on the stand hook into the cake drum.

Your roses should not fall off if they are stuck with enough royal icing, which is allowed to dry thoroughly before placing the cake at an angle.
