Hi, if you can paint, then you will be able to paint on cakes, just use sugarflair gel/paste colours. You can dilute them with alcohol like vodka or buy rejuvenator from cake shops.
Hope this helps, good luck

Hi Cheryl, I painted a tiger for my niece's birthday cake (in my photos), it was a first time painting onto a sugar/flower paste plaque, which I then glued onto the cake with icing, I used gels and dusts to paint the tiger. So give it a try you'll be surprised at what you can do icon_wink.gif

when ive painted on cakes.. and ive never done anything major.. coz im the worlds worst drawer! lol i have just used the liquid food colouring from the supermarket., its works fine for the small scale i do. might be good to just practice with? the "art work" in my cow art cake was painted doing that.
