...myself!! Haha! I just can't decide what I want! I haven't gotten to make any cakes for a while because we suddenly moved about 4 hours away into a ONE BEDROOM apartment and just moved into a house (thankfully)! I am having the hardest time deciding what to make. I have two showers back home to do and one at my new school. Everyone thinks I am crazy for making my own cakes, but I really regret not doing my own wedding cake so there is no way I am not making these cakes! I am having a boy and one shower is definitely turquoise, green, and brown. The others can be anything really, but NOT a sheet cake! icon_smile.gif So, I would love your ideas, suggestions, and pictures of your favorite baby shower cakes. Thanks!

Damask is beautiful and elegant. Maybe something similar to this but using your colors?

What is the room theme? maybe you can do a 3d character cake to go with your theme(if you have one)

That cake is so pretty, but I don't have a stencil. I keep wanting one, but I am a little scared of that technique! The closest cake store is an hour away, and with the "snow storm" (in the south that's 1-3 inches!) coming I don't think I'll get there. I don't really have a theme, just cute stripes, polka dots, giraffe print, etc. I guess I'll go with that.

I just favorited this cake the other day. I love how it's not a mish mash of a bunch of baby stuff. I've always liked the gift box idea and the little onesie is so cute. Looks super easy to make too which is always a plus!

I just did this Giraffe this past weekend for a boy baby shower, colors are green, blue, and silver. And the blocks are the initials of the baby.

I did this baby shower recently, maybe you could use it as a jumping off point.

I just hope this client doesn't give you too hard a time, or interupt you when you're working on the cake. icon_confused.gif But I have a feeling you'll be able to figure out just what she likes. icon_lol.gif

Good Grief, you're probably right. And ask for a free tasting ahead of time too. icon_rolleyes.gif Just wait, give this client a free tasting, and you'll never hear from them again.
