Trying to find a really good poured fondant recipe for cupcakes and mini cakes. while most recipes are a powdered sugar mix I found a recipe where you make a fondant block out of cooked sugar and then later reheat. This sounds like what I want a real shiny good tasting fondant. Has anyone ever used this type before. It is more work so if it is just the same finish as the powder sugar type I'll go to faster. Want to try this on cupcakes and mini cakes for V day. Any thoughts from those who use their own poured fondant would really be appreciated.
