How to make a cookie cake? In a 16 inch cake pan or pizza pan. Or does it matter. And when making a cookie that big, do I use a reg. cookie recipe? bake at a lower temp? TYIA!

i bake in my normal cake pans (i have 2" tall magic line), i don't want to have other "cookie" pans laying around when they all bake the same. I use my same cookie recipe. I bake at 350 until it's done.

I ALWAYS line my pan with parchment paper though, no chances of the cookie (or any of the chips) sticking this way, so it pops out really easy.

I do the same as Leily, except that I line the pan with foil and spray with nonstick spray.

Thanks! I hate the idea of extra pans!

I made a shark cookie that I used a template to cut out then put on a large cookie sheet. It was BIG.
