I started to mix spritz cookies and found I have no baker powder, can I refrigerate the cookies tonight and then remix tomorrow once I have the baking powder? The cookie dough is sooo thick I am worried i'll never be able to fully incorporate the baking powder.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to that. But, one way to find out for sure. I'd take the dough out of the fridge before you go to buy the baking powder. Add it and try a batch. If it works, great, and if not, you only lost a little time on that first batch in the oven. Good luck.

Yea, I am gonna try unless some says no way dude, wont work.. I love raw cookie dough.. I know it's a no no w/ a raw eggs, but I cant help myself, so I am not too torn up about it, had a nice BIG spoonful just before I put it in the fridge.

I think I am the only person I know who does not like raw cookie dough. I don't like ice cream with cookie dough either. I must be an enigma. icon_confused.gif

Here is a substitute just in case, too:

For each 1 teaspoon baking powder called for in a recipe, use:
1/4 teaspoon baking soda plus 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
