I love Satin Ice and I buy it on GlobalSugarart.com. Right now they have a deal on shipping. For every $10 you spend, the give you $1 off your shipping costs. You can get a 5lb bucket for less than $29, that price includes shipping.

I forgot to tell you that they are really quick in getting it to you. I can place an order on Monday and usually have it by Thursday morning.

Cannot recall off hand for certain, want to say around $7-$9. I haven't ordered in a short while because last time I did, I ordered more than enough for me. 5lbs of white is like $16, 2lbs of white is $9.50. You can probably go through the purchasing process far enough to see what the shipping is before confirming the order. icon_smile.gif

I just ordered some from "the bakers kitchen . net" it was super fast shipping over the holiday, and I think it was pretty nicely priced I even got the free mystery gift box with it. where they gave me some dusting sugars, several cookie cutters, and a bag of cookie frosting mix.

I haven't used the satin ice fondant yet, but am super excited to do so this week.

Hi Phoenix,

I'm from the Philippines. If you may, I'm interested to have your Marshmallow Satin Ice Fondant Recipe. This would help me a lot. Thanks in advance.

1 bag and half marshmallows any brand will do. 1/2 c shortening and one bag of powdered sugar. 2 to 3 tb spoon water and 2 to 3 cap fulls of clear vanilla extract

Put shortening and powdered sugar in mixer bowel.

Grease mixer, dough hook, microwave bowl with some shortening. put bag and half of marshmallows in microwave bowel add water and extract. microwave for 1min 15sec or until melted take out and stir. Pour melted marshmallow over powdered sugar and start mixer very slow. keep pushing powdered sugar off the side of the bowel into dough hook. it will should start to form a ball in the bowl as it all starts to combine. I stop my mixer and knead the loose powdered sugar with hands until it isn't that sticky. I put shortening on my hands and take out of mixer and knead adding just a little powdered sugar a little bit at a time. cut in half and wrap in in plastic wrap and place in plastic bag and date.
Let rest at least for an hour
If it to dry add shortening, if sticky add powdered sugar a little at a time should feel like bread dough.

to color add paste colors in with marshmallows before you microwave.

Hope you enjoy this recipe thumbs_up.gif
