I'm looking for a recipe for a dense cake, not being pound cake but something I can work with that is not going to fall apart when I mold it. I need to make cake with some hills for boys dirt track cake, this will be my first try at something like this.
Can someone please help. Thank You !! icon_sad.gif

I use a really nice recipe that I found in the back of a Wilton Book. Its for a chocolate Cake, but I substitute milk chocolate with White Almond Bark, its amazing its a very sturdy moist dense cake, I rarely ever have a problem with it.

I don't have my book right now a friend is using it. But it comes out of the Wilton Book Tiered Cakes. Its in the back of it. Its a great recipe.

Everyone who has ever gotten a cake from me this is their favorite. But Like I said I substitute the cocoa powder/milk chocolate or what ever it calls for with White Almond Bark.
