Help With Dragon Cake

Hello, I have 3D Dragon cake due this weekend, i usually wing it when it comes to sculpting, but thought you guys could give me any advise, ideas or tutorials u know of? I really like the style of Chyana66`s dragon, sooo neat! All your input is apreciated.

When I did mine, I used 2 10 inch rounds, 2 8 inch rnds, and 2 6 inch rounds cut them in half, then set them sidebyside for the body. then I carved and shaped as needed. I also used RKT for the feet and the start of the tail. I did a practice carve with some extra rounds to be sure I had the size right.

The dragon cake of the person you mention is very goodWhy don,t you p/m her and ask her , when she has the time , if she could help you out with making yours. I usually get great responces when i do this. I hope you get your help. hth

thanks guys! anyone know if it would work if i ice the body with whipped chocolate ganache or just regular ganache poured over and use that as my base under the fondant (scales)? if i cover it with poured ganache how long do i have to get all the fondant on?
